Kennels

All dogs are provided with proper food, water, shelter, ventilation, and temperature control, and are housed to minimize disease transmission.

  • Adoption floor (A floor) houses dogs available for adoption

  • Stray floor houses dogs unavailable for adoption, adoptable big dogs with special needs, and A floor overflow. Big dogs are housed primarily in south corridors (5-6); little dogs in north (7-8). The back/west end of corridors 7-8 is reserved for puppies and quarantined dogs.
