Volunteer Scheduling

Each week, the Scheduling Lead will prepare the schedule, reach out to volunteers to fill gaps, and communicate the final lineup to the team.

• Sign up for your regular shift with the Scheduling Lead.

• If you cannot cover a regular shift, then sign up with the Scheduling Lead each week by Sun 6 pm.

• If you cannot make a scheduled shift, try to secure a substitute, and give 24-hour notice (emergencies excluded) to the Scheduling Lead.

• Holidays – Sign up for shifts as described above. Staff will refer to the weekly schedule to assign security clearance to volunteers. Only Purple Paw (PP) volunteers and Orange Paw volunteers paired with PPs are eligible to work.
